Wildlife & Wellbeing Centre. Sevenoaks (2018)

Connecting two adjacent lakes, the Sevenoaks Nature and Wellbeing Centre is a low linear structure nested within the trees, formed of two timber pavilions beneath an expansive green roof that gently lifts up towards each lake to provide breath-taking views across the reserve.

The western pavilion houses the reception, shop, exhibition areas and café leading onto a terrace with views over the western lake and the afternoon sun, whilst the eastern pavilion contains the multi-purpose studio and treatment rooms overlooking the eastern lake. Located between the timber pavilions is the public entrance, with existing mature trees growing through openings in the roof and habitats introduced for birds, bats and insects.
